How it works

Four steps, one contact, no surprises.

Every request starts with a real transaction. Here is how we work with you, what we ask for and when, and what an initial review means.

The four steps

  1. Share your transaction.

Use the short form or write to us. We need the instrument requested, an approximate amount, your country and a few lines on the operation.

No bank details, ID documents or KYC file at this stage.

  2. Review the requirements and available options.

We discuss the operation with you, usually by call, and review the contract, the parties and the requested terms. We tell you clearly what looks feasible, what is missing, and what could block.

This review is not an approval and does not commit any institution.

  3. Coordinate the documentation and proposed wording.

If you decide to proceed, we agree the terms of our engagement in writing. We then help assemble the file and prepare the draft text, aligned with your contract and your counterparty’s requirements.

Confidential documents are exchanged through an appropriate channel, not through the website.

  4. Support the agreed issuance process.

We follow the exchanges with the parties and institutions involved, relay questions and adjustments, and keep you informed until the instrument is issued.

What we ask for at first — and what we do not

Initially, we ask for

  • The type of instrument requested
  • An estimated amount and currency
  • Your company’s country
  • A short description of the goods, contract or project
  • Your contact details

We do not ask for, at this stage

  • Bank account numbers or SWIFT codes
  • Your supplier’s full details
  • A preferred issuing bank or minimum rating
  • Identity documents or a KYC file
  • Shipping details or a documentary checklist

What determines pricing and timing

There is no standard price or fixed timeframe in trade finance. We give you an indication once we understand the operation. The main factors are:

  • The type, amount and duration of the instrument
  • The countries and parties involved
  • The completeness and quality of the file
  • The wording requested by the beneficiary
  • The policies and internal processes of the institutions concerned

Questions about the process

Is there a fee to submit a request?

No. Sending a request and the first exchange are free and without commitment. The terms of any engagement are agreed in writing before work begins.

Can you guarantee that my instrument will be issued?

No one can honestly guarantee that. Issuance depends on the transaction, the file and the decision of the institution. What we do is help you present a coherent, well-prepared request.

In which countries do you work?

We are based in Madrid and work with companies in many regions, including Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Feasibility depends on the countries and parties involved in each transaction.

Which languages do you work in?

English and French. Contract documents in other languages can be discussed case by case.
